Building stone houses has a very long tradition.
Whether you are plannig to do the stonework on the entire building or only on part of it, stone is a great solution to emphasise nice details and architechtural styles.

Over time, exterior stoneworks get an "aged look", which brings the charm of the old world to the house and its surroundings. Because stone is available in a great variety, it's always easy to combine it with different buliding materials like stucco or brick.

Delicate details in the stonework, like arches, soldier courses or pillars, enhance the appearance of any building. Not to mention that stone is resistant against weather and it is an excellent material for heat isolation.
